WILDCRETE 3D Rock Hyrax

It's hard to imagine, but the small, furry rock hyraxes (Procavia capensis) are closely related to elephants and manatees. They look very similar to the marmots we are familiar with. These rabbit-sized quadrupeds love sunbathing, especially on South Africa's Table Mountain, and they are world champions at climbing smooth rocks. The rock hyrax (dassie) is a very common animal in Africa and is mainly found on rocks in the bushland. This is one of our most popular targets, because it is very difficult to get a perfect shot of it. The urine of these small animals provides the miracle drug known as ‘hyracium’, which was used in ancient times to treat nervous disorders. Although the 3D animal pair is the smallest target in the WILDCRETE 3D Target range, it has 4 target zones.
