The most striking
features of the warthog (Phacochoerus aethiopicus) are the three pairs of warts
on the face and the pointed fangs that grow sideways and upwards. The teeth
serve as very effective weapons against enemies. When warthogs of a pack meet,
they greet each other with grunting sounds. A warthog can reach a weight of over
140 kilograms.
The animal of group 2 is slightly smaller than its
larger counterpart. For traditional archers in particular, the recommended draw
weight for recurve bows is max. 50 pounds.
