HOYT Eclipse - 30-60 lbs - Compound bow
When the idea of developing a premium bow for women was first mooted, the Hoyt team designed a bow from scratch. Many female shooters expressed their wishes, which the engineers took into account and worked through in list form. The result is a completely new system, optimised for arrow speed, comfort and classic Hoyt shootability, packed into one of the most compact bows ever developed by Hoyt.
When it comes to weight specifications for bows, it is common practice that these actually only include the bare bow - without dampers or other components that are already installed on the bow. Not so with Hoyt: the Eclipse weighs only 3.7 lbs (1.68 kg) out of the box.
The Eclipse is a real lightweight and sets new standards with its axle length of 29 inches. Despite its compactness, this model is forgiving when shooting thanks to the long riser. The Eclipse is factory fitted with Limb Shox and ShockPods noise dampers, as well as the Hoyt Stealthshop String Stopper to nip noise in the bud.
Available with an extension range of 23.5 to 28 inches with 2 different cam sizes and interchangeable modules, maximum performance is possible with every setup. This makes the Eclipse one of the fastest bows ever for shorter draw lengths.
