The sleek, elegant Formula XD is an evolution of the previous generation of Olympic and World Champion Hoyt recurve centerpieces. The Formula XD was developed with a grip-limb pivot geometry that, in conjunction with a modern high performance recurve limb, optimizes tuning and eliminates unwanted vertical nocking.

360 Damper System
The Formula XD is equipped with the new 360 dampening system - a vibration killer for all axes that significantly improves the feel of the shot. The Formula XD middle section has been developed with Dynamic Flex Control, thus enabling optimum riser flex.

String Tension Technology
This unprecedented advancement and innovation in the recurve sector allows the shooter to adjust the string tension to customize the shooting feel. These small adjustments in the limb pocket make the limbs feel shorter or longer without having to make any other changes to the bow, limbs or setting of the bow.

Perfect Balance Weight System
The Perfect Balance Weight System (PBWS) features two 1 oz. Weights that can be moved between the upper and lower limb pockets, allowing the archer to customize the vertical balance of the Formula XD.

Pro Series Dovetail Block
The refined Pro Series Dovetail Block features an all-new precision alloy insert. This prevents potential jamming under certain conditions and eliminates unwanted noise and vibration from the dovetail pocket during the pulling process.

VertaTune clicker plate
The Formula XD comes standard with three VertaTune clicker plates - high, medium and low - that allow customization of the arrow rest position for optimal tuning and performance that matches the shooter's shooting style.

New optimized grip position
The new Formula XD centerpiece features an optimized riser geometry that has been modified from the previous generation of Hoyt Formula recurves to achieve better tuning by reducing unwanted vertical nock movement. This centralized grip position promotes more consistent archer engagement and contributes to a linear shooting action.
